NOAD releases EQM4 version 2.2 for BOXIR2 and BO XI 3.1

NOAD has released a new version of EQM4. Below is a short summary of the major functional improvements.

Support for WebI Rich Client

NOAD EQM4 now provides full support for WebI Rich Client documents. With functions like checkout to file system and check-in from file system NOAD EQM supports making offline changes to WebI Rich Client documents.

Migration support BOXIR2 to BOXI 3.1

NOAD EQM4 2.2 has improved support for Migrations to BOXI 3.1. Although EQM does not perform the migration itself, it will enable you to migrate to BOXI 3.1 (VC) and still have access to historical items.

Synchronize allows rebuild of BO CMS

The Synchronize function enables you to synchronize a Repository Engine from EQM. Example: If your BO Acceptance CMS was corrupted you can rebuild it by creating a new BO CMS and synchronize the universes and documents from NOAD EQM.

Enhanced Table Impact Analysis

EQM4 comes with a powerful Object Impact analysis. In EQM4 2.2.1 this Table Impact is enhanced by presenting a summary of universes with affected objects and reports in the first section of the report.

Performance Enhancements

Product Development has made a big performance improvement on several levels in NOAD EQM. The NOAD EQM Architecture has changed to improve performance. Instead of the 3 Server processes in previous versions NOAD EQM now only has a single Server process which improves startup time. Performance Improvements have also been achieved in loading the domain into the Graphical User Interface.

Improved Graphical display of workflow paths and environment/stages

Customers using NOAD EQM in large deployments often have many deployment paths. The new Graphical Deployment Structure visualizes your deployment paths giving you a better overview of your Deployment Structure. It’s even possible to zoom into a specific area or make changes from the Graphical Interface.
