Klaas Borgers

Chairman

Klaas is a senior executive with proven success in growing global computer systems -, software solutions – and services businesses. Klaas brings more than 25 years of operational management experience to the NOAD Board having most recently served as Executive Board Consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Prior to joining Cap Gemini, Klaas served as President of Intergraph Computer Systems’ Enterprise Solution Business where he lead, refocused and restructured sales, services and marketing of the division to a profitable growth. In his 8 year tenure at Intergraph Klaas held a number of executive positions in worldwide operations. Earlier in his career, Klaas was manager at Hitachi Data Systems and Control Data Corporation. 


Thomas E. Schroeder

Board member

Tom has held a number of senior executives roles in major enterprise software businesses and he brings extensive knowledge of strategic corporate development to NOAD. Until April 2010 Tom served as group vice president of the SAP BusinessObjects division of SAP, which included integration of Business Objects into SAP. Prior to that, Tom served as group vice president of Business Objects SA as member of its senior executive team. During his 10 year tenure at Business Objects, Tom oversaw Strategic Portfolio Operations and Programs. In his role as being responsible for Corporate Development, Tom completed 9 acquisitions with a cumulative valuation of $1.6B in business intelligence and adjacent markets of which the largest acquisition was Crystal Decisions at $1.2B market value. Prior to joining Business Objects, Tom held executive positions at Sun Microsystems and Xerox.   
 
 

Hans Geelhoed

Board member

Hans is a successful entrepreneur in different kinds of industries, in different kinds of markets. With a background in sales, finance and banking, Hans started Business Objects in the Netherlands and turned it into one of the most successful subsidiaries of Business Objects SA. As a member of Business Objects’ worldwide management team, Hans became Vice President Central Europe before he retired to return to being an entrepreneur. As such, Hans is currently active as founder and CEO of one of the largest fish export companies in Asia, is involved as senior executive and investor in large scale real estate projects and runs several charity projects in Indonesia. Besides his executive skills, Hans brings his experience in working with fast growing companies and teams.
