  • SCAN - audit of your existing BI deployment to evaluate existing processes, systems and resources
  • PLAN - producing a plan to control and standardize the implementation of all new BI projects and migrate existing projects overtime
  • EXECUTE - setup the correct architecture to provide a scalable, controlled and secure BI deployment
  • CONTROL - measure and enforce the defined controls and standards, using NOAD EQM4

Use of SPECS© is a good methodology for developing accurate project cost estimates, from the bottom up, based upon each of the implementation tasks. The more detailed the plan, the more accurate the estimate. A SPECS© implementation will identify all the deliverables required for installation or migration of NOAD EQM4. A detailed SPECS© is also helpful for assigning staff roles and responsibilities in the project. NOAD also utilizes SPECS© to help assure that the implementation process stays in synch with capabilities and customer requirements.
