The evolution of Business Intelligence (BI) technology from a tactical tool to one of mission criticality demands to speed up the deployment process, reduce deployment costs, achieve control over the BI environment, monitor BI usage and, most importantly, maximize ROI is fast growing.

As BI deployments grow in complexity and breadth, the ability to scale the architecture becomes increasingly important. Many deployments fail due to the work loads associated with a significant user base which, given the fact that BI solutions require acceptance at the business user level, poor performance can eliminate interest and, most likely, the project.

As such we, as NOAD, believe BI technology on its own is not an adequate solution anymore. A control layer on top of BI technology to manage, control and monitor the costs of deployment and migration and ensure the integrity of the BI platform is turning into an essential component for the BI component of your Enterprise Information Management.

In order to help our customers to get in control of their enterprise BI deployment to maximize its value we have developed such a 'control layer' called EQM.
