Our Team

André Grift serves as CEO and President. He co-founded NOAD in February 2000. In his position he focused on the strategy in the shorter and longer term, including the partnerships with Business Objects and other main players in the Business Intelligence marketplace. In 2004 Grift founded NOAD Americas, Inc. in New York which is currently NOAD's International Headquarters and base from where he directs the company.

Under Grift's leadership, NOAD has transformed itself from a technology vendor to a sales and marketing driven entity and has been recognized by Deloitte as one of the ten most rapidly growing IT firms in the Netherlands for the period 2000-2004 and 2005 (winner Rising Star / Technology Fast 50 and ranked 42 in the 2005 EMEA Technology Fast 500).

Professional History

André has a combined background in managing IT projects, as IT Project Manager for the Amsterdam Police Department and as System Engineer at ABN AMRO Bank as well as managing organizational projects at a mid-size IT consulting company restructuring and refocusing the company to a profitable entity.

Education

André holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Amsterdam HES School of Economics and followed (Information) Management courses at the University of Amsterdam and Nijenrode Business University.

Paul joined NOAD in January 2007 and is responsible for Operations in the EMEA region. He is our Director of Operations and is a permanent member of NOAD's management team. He is responsible for sales, marketing, business partners and services delivery.

Professional History

Paul started his professional career at Exact Software where he learned about product marketing and sales. When he joined Holland's biggest system integrator Getronics he made a successful career in complex solution sales. He was quickly appointed manager of one of the corporate account banking teams. To further develop his professional skills he later on went to become Segment Director at a mid size system integrator. In this role he managed the sales and product management teams for several lines of business. He is also an independent sales trainer, consultant and author. Before joining NOAD he was an interim Sales Director for Tridion, a leading enterprise content management software vendor.

Education

Paul holds a Masters degree from Tilburg University in linguistics with 'consumer behavior' and 'commercial psychology'. He attended several sales and marketing courses.

Jeroen Gerritsen serves as Director of Product Development. He co-founded NOAD in February 2000, and was involved in the functional design of NOAD EQM. In his position he is focused on R&D and therefore in touch with the customer Business Intelligence needs. Besides new functionality he and his team are responsible for the daily customer support services.

Professional History

Jeroen has a broad range of experiences with the Business Objects platform. Prior to the co-founding of NOAD he was working as senior consultant for several leading Business Object users, including Business Objects Netherlands. Other positions he has held were Manager R&D at K2 Groep, introducing the Business Objects platform in the Netherlands and he built for Turniek, as Oracle BI consultant, a center of excellence around the Business Objects BI platform.

Silvia Sander served as controller overseeing back-office, finance, HR, insurance and legal operations since she joined the company 2003 until she was named Treasurer and Secretary in 2004 including NOAD Americas, Inc.

Professional History

Silvia has an extensive financial background. Prior to NOAD she was working for Business Objects Netherlands serving as the newly formed entity's controller and responsible for budgeting, revenue recognition and legal policies and procedures. Other positions she has held were Administration Manager at Sybase Europe, responsible for sales administration, revenue recognition and budget maintenance for the northern European region and for Sybase Netherlands she was responsible for the entire administration for the Netherlands division.

Education

Silvia holds a Bachelor degree of Economics from the HES school of Economics in Enschede, and certificates for the Bachelor degree of Business Administration.
